Now that trade talks between Canada and the U.S. have fallen apart, the war of words is escalating, and increasingly pointed insults are being thrown across the border. Reacting out of anger might feel good in the moment, but we cannot lose sight of the fact that the U.S. is and will remain our most important relationship for many years to come.
